Miro Arva, born in what was formerly known as Czechoslovakia, discovered his deep-rooted passion for the visual arts during his early twenties. Rather than being openly expressive in his thoughts and feelings, he tended to be quite reserved throughout his childhood and teenage years, which lent a layer of introspection to his early life. However, his photography practice transformed into its complete opposite just a couple of years later, reflecting a newfound boldness and willingness to embrace both creativity and vulnerability. In 2008, Arva made the significant decision to move to England in order to pursue his photography career more earnestly and with a sense of purpose. New country quickly became not just a place of work for Arva, but also a welcoming new home. One of the most prominent highlights of Arva's photography journey so far has been photographing the iconic 90s supermodel Naomi Campbell, the French actress Antonia Desplat, or capturing memorable moments of the Royal family, an experience that showcased his remarkable talent on a larger stage to a broader audience. Miro Arva is now a freelance photographer based in London, where his passion lies in both commercial and artistic photography, continually evolving his creative vision. In recent years, Arva's genre of photography has become notably diverse and multifaceted, as he is not afraid to experiment with and explore new formats, mediums, and innovative techniques. In his latest body of work, Arva delves deep into the intricate world of people. He is particularly drawn to their rich cultural backgrounds, complex emotions, and unique life stories, bringing an enriched depth to his artistic expression and inviting viewers to connect with his work on a personal level.
